Bio

A Pushcart Prize-nominated poet, Eric von Mizener sold his first script to The Incredible Hulk on CBS-TV when he was 18.  He won collegiate awards for journalism and video production, and his video Breaking Point was used in screenwriting classes at Cal State Fullerton.  A graduate of the Master of Professional Writing program at the University of Southern California, he has produced a sitcom pilot and an infomercial.  Founding director of the Cayman Islands Film Festival, he also organized poetry readings throughout southern California, emceed over 200 events and spoken at a hundred more.  He has appeared on local and national radio and television, including a piece for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  He hosts Poets Café on KPFK-FM Los Angeles and is an art commissioner for the city of Moreno Valley, California, where he lives.
